Washington City Mission - Pittsburgh, PA

The Pittsburgh Commercial Team is excited to spotlight Sally's Sanctuary, a new 50-bed women's shelter designed to provide safety, support, and essential resources for women and children experiencing homelessness. The facility offers a secure and welcoming environment where individuals and families can access the care and assistance they need as they work toward rebuilding their lives.

Sally's Sanctuary is part of City Mission's efforts to provide support and resources to those in need. The shelter is named in honor of Dr. Mounts, who retired after 11 years of dedicated service as City Mission's Chief Development Officer. The project also includes Matt's Maker Space, a hands-on creative environment designed to give children opportunities to learn, explore, and grow.

The project features Pella Impervia fiberglass fixed frame windows, selected for their exceptional strength, durability, and lasting performance. Made from Pella's proprietary fiberglass material, these windows provide a dependable solution for the new facility while complementing its overall design and functionality.

The Pittsburgh Commercial Team is proud to have partnered with Mosites Construction and Rothschild Doyno Collaborative to bring this important project to life, helping create a supportive space for women and children as they work toward a brighter future!
