Project Spotlight: Bridgeton Fire House & City Hall Renovation

The Philadelphia Commercial Team is proud to spotlight the historic Old City Hall in Bridgeton, New Jersey, helping preserve the building’s architectural character while transforming it into a new central Fire and EMS headquarters.

The project includes the renovation of the 15,000-square-foot former City Hall, which served the city from 1930 to 2008, along with a new fire station addition featuring a modern apparatus bay. The renovation preserves the historic character of the original building while providing updated space for emergency responders.

For this project, Pella Reserve Traditional Single-Hung windows were selected to complement the building’s original architectural character while providing the quality and performance expected of a modern renovation. The windows feature historic putty profiles, through-stile construction, authentic proportions and profiles, innovative grilles and authentic spoon-lock hardware.

These carefully designed details help create the traditional look and feel required for historic renovations while maintaining Pella’s quality and performance. The new windows support the project’s goal of preserving the original character of Old City Hall while adapting the building for its new purpose.
