Clairton Inn Apartments – Clairton, PA

The Pittsburgh Commercial Team is excited to spotlight Clairton Inn Apartments, a historic redevelopment project located in Clairton, Pennsylvania. The project received a 2023 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Design Award, recognizing its architectural design and contribution to the surrounding area.

The development features 49 affordable apartment units situated above four commercial retail spaces. By combining residential housing with commercial opportunities, the project provides a mix of living and retail spaces while maintaining the historic character of the property.

The project features Pella Reserve curved-top single-hung windows, Pella Impervia fiberglass windows, and Pella 250 Series vinyl windows. These products were selected to meet the building's architectural requirements while accommodating the project's budget. The combination of window styles and materials helped preserve the building's historic appearance while providing durability and lasting performance.
